Wabashi Tower

Wabashi Tower
The Wabashi tower soars 40 zigzagging stories over Grant Park, the lakefront, and the Loop. Its sweeping city and lake views provide beautiful backdrop to any social event.

The Wabash building is located on a small and complex site of 1750 square meters on Wabashi street in Chicago, adjacent to Louis Sullivan's landmark Auditorium Building.

The 40 story "vertical city" includes a variety of functions, including office, business, conference facilities and apartments. The project provides the key infrastructure to serve the auditorium theater and retains the facade of the historical art museum. The building expands the city's commitment to citizen participation by continuing to support the community and manage this cultural landmark.

The form and language of the design complements the character of the historic Auditorium building both of which express a quality of transformation that is the visible expression of the mission of social justice.
