In April 2021, Simcere Pharmacy held an investment agreement signing ceremony with South Hongqiao Management Committee Office and Huacao Town People's government, and plans to build the Simcere Pharmacy Shanghai R & D center . JH was invited to provide a architectural concept design.
The project is located in the Qianwan biomedical sector of Shanghai Hongqiao International Business District, and its functions include R & D laboratories, China Marketing Center, Simcere college, cell therapy base, etc. Among them, the R & D laboratory has more than 1500 person; China marketing center undertakes the task of domestic market promotion, with a staff size of more than 900; Simcere college meets the training and empowerment needs of personnel at all levels of all functional departments; The cell therapy base undertakes the commercial production needs of car-t, tumor vaccine and other cell therapies. With a land area of 25,000 m2, the project plans to invest 800 million yuan,
The Design was provided by JH Shanghai and New York office, and the cross time zone offices of the two places closely cooperate and communicate. The team is composed of Mr. Colin Montoute, design director of New York company, Yosra Ben Salah, designer of Shanghai company and Cui Zhenyu.
