Zhoushan Qushan Island Shuanglong Bay Urban Design
JH was selected to join the competition

JH was invited to participate in the international Design Competition of Qushan Island Shuanglong Bay area, a "Yingzhou style fishing port in the East China Sea", organized by the China Urban Planning Society, and was successfully prequalified to attend the formal design stage. The design  is expected to be completed by the end of June 2021

Qushan island is located in the north central part of Zhoushan archipelago in Zhejiang Province. It is at the forefront of strategies such as the "the Belt and Road" and the Yangtze River economic belt. It is a strategic bridgehead for Zhejiang Province to develop marine economy and connect with Shanghai and a maritime gateway facing the Pacific Ocean. It is also the core area of the islands off the Zhoushan free trade zone.

Ji Xiaojie and Yosra Ben Salah, two designers from JH Shanghai Studio attended the project kick-off meeting and investigate the project site in Qushan Island.
